Yoga began for me at the age of 18. Taking a class at the old yoga connection on 4th avenue was an experience I’ll never forget. I knew this was something I wanted and needed in my life forever more. Fast forward to 2018 and I completed my first yoga teacher training. I did not intend to teach yoga, but rather to grow as a person, and to learn more about yoga, the practice that had helped me so much over the years. I was lucky enough to be working as an RDH for a DDS who happened to have a yoga studio (I know, crazy, right?). Through the process of teaching them for my graduation, I realized this is EXACTLY what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Sentient Yoga was born in 2018. My friends in the dental field, hygienists, assistants, front desk, and my dentist, would all come to practice Tuesday evenings at the old Medicine Wheel. I now teach at numerous studios and online. I have a signature program for those looking for restoration. My mission is to help as many people as I can find their way to a healthier life through the power of yoga.
